Pet Policy

We love that you want to bring your dog along. To keep The Anchorage comfortable for everyone, pets are welcome in our pet-friendly apartment under the following policy.

Pet Policy

We welcome pets under the following conditions:

  • Pets must be registered with reception upon check-in by supplying a complete and signed Pet Agreement.
  • Pets must be clean, quiet, and under control at all times.
  • Pets must be free of fleas, parasites, and other diseases.
  • Pets must be domesticated.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times.
  • Pets must be under control and on a lead at all times when on the property and must not disturb other guests when on or passing through common areas.
  • Pets must be toilet trained.
  • Pets must not be left unattended, including in the apartment, courtyard or trailers/cars at any time.
  • Owners must not use communal laundry facilities, including sinks, to wash pets or pet bedding.
  • Owners are responsible for keeping all areas where pets are housed clean, safe, and free of parasites.
  • Owners must immediately pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste.
  • Pets are not permitted on any furniture or in bedrooms. Failure to comply will result in an additional cleaning fee of $150 to clean couches, beds or carpets.
  • Pets are not allowed in communal areas of the resort, including the swimming pool, BBQ area, and children’s playground.

Please remember that not everyone is comfortable around pets. To ensure respect and consideration of all guests staying with us, we ask that our pet policy rules be adhered to. It is your responsibility to control and manage your pet.

If management reasonably considers that you have not complied with this policy, or that your pet is in any way aggressive, dangerous or destructive and impacts unnecessarily on the welfare of other guests, management reserve the right to ask you to vacate the property and terminate your stay, in which case you will not be entitled to a refund.

You are liable for and indemnify The Anchorage Bermagui Pty Ltd and Management Companies against all loss and damage (including without limitation property damage and personal injury) directly or indirectly arising out of or related in any way to the conduct, acts and omissions of your pet. The Anchorage Bermagui Pty Ltd reserves the right to apply all fees and expenses associated with any such loss or damage to your account.

You release and discharge The Anchorage Bermagui Pty Ltd and Management Companies from any liabilities, claims, demands, suits, actions, rights, entitlements, costs or expenses that you may have or incur directly or indirectly arising out of or related in any way to your pet.

Pet Agreement

A signed Pet Agreement is completed at reception on check-in. By signing, the guest agrees to abide by this policy and to keep only the common household pet(s) described in the agreement on the premises. Please contact us if you would like a copy of the agreement in advance.
